Classification Of Thermal Resistance
Thermal resistance can be mainly divided into ordinary type thermal resistance, sheathed thermal resistance, face thermal resistance, and flameproof thermal resistance.
According to the measuring principle of thermal resistance, the change of the measured temperature will be directly shown by the change of the thermoelectric resistance, and the temperature variation of thermal resistance body’s leading wire and other wire resistance will make difference on the measurement. The common type of heat resistance is usually used for general measurement. And sheathed thermal resistance is composed of a temperature sensing element (resistor), leading wire, insulation material, and the stainless steel sleeve. Its outer diameter is generally around Phi 2-- phi 8mm. The temperature sensor of thermal resistance is composed of a kind of resistor wire with special treatment, which is close to the thermometer in the end. So it can more correctly and quickly reflect the actual measured temperature of the end face, suitable for measurement of bearing and other parts. Three Installation Suggestions Of The Thermal Resistance
Thermal resistance is a kind of temperature detector most commonly used in low temperature area. And for its installation, there are three suggestions about the installation place, connection and deviation.
First, we talk about installation place. Thermal resistance should be avoided to install besides the stove or the place too close to the heating body. And it should be installed in the place where there is no shock or just small vibration. At the same time, the place should ensure that the construction and maintenance is convenient. The installation position should as far as possible to maintain the vertical, but if there is a velocity flow, it has to be inclined installation. And the junction box hole should be downward.
Then, for the connection, thermal resistance should be in accordance with the provisions of the wiring. Generally, it uses the three-line system. The connecting wire should be insulation copper, whose cross-sectional area should be greater than or equal to a square millimeter, and its conductor resistance value should be in accordance with the provisions of the display instrument.
Last, we should know that thermal inertia can make the change of heat resistance lag behind that of temperature. In order to eliminate the error caused by it, we should reduce the protection tube of heat resistance as far as possible to, while appropriately increasing the insertion depth of the thermal resistance to increase its heated parts. In addition, we should also pay attention to regularly check the protection status of the thermal resistance.

Know Something About The Sheathed Thermal Resistance
Sheathed thermal resistance is a kind of temperature sensor, measuring the temperature by the character of the material that if the material changes its temperature, so does the resistance of it. For another thing, sheathed thermal resistance adopts the protective cover made of stainless steel and be filled with high-density oxide insulator material, therefore, the sheathed thermal resistance has strong anti pollution performance and mechanical strength, which also makes it suitable for installation in the harsh environment applications.
