The Technical Advantages Of Thermocouple

Thermocouples are commonly used in the temperature measuring instrument. Due to the different use, appearance of thermocouples is not very identical, but their basic structure is roughly the same, and also has the following technical advantages.

First of all, the thermocouple assembly is simple, and replacement is convenient. Second, the range of temperature measurement of thermocouples is wide; they can achieve the continuous measurement of the temperature between -40~+ 1600, and in some special circumstances, the temperature that can be measured could be －270℃～2800℃. Third, thermocouples can work with high precision. Because the thermocouples and the measured object are not in direct contact, so the result is not affected by the medium, thus ensuring the accurate measurement results. Meanwhile, the thermal response time of thermocouple is very short, and they can timely measure the changes of the temperature. Fifth, performance of the thermocouples is firm, and they also have good mechanical strength, so the using life of them is usually very long.
